Bitcoin já tem o dobro de investidores do ouro, aponta pesquisa

Crypto Milled – Bitcoin already has twice as many gold investors, research finds – News

In a poll posted on his Twitter profile, MicroStrategy CEO and founder Michael Saylor asked his followers what percentage of their portfolio they were earning for investments in gold and Bitcoin.

And the result of the survey showed that cryptocurrency is not only the largest part of the portfolio but the amounts invested in relation to the available capital were higher.

Accordingly with survey responses, 44,268 users claimed to have a Bitcoin savings in excess of 50% of their total investments. On the other hand, for gold, only 4,097 people allocated this percentage.

In addition, the number of people who invest in BTC instead of gold was higher. While 87,661 users claimed to have investments in crypto, the gold holders who participated in the survey were 49,636. That is, about 56.31% of investors prefer Bitcoins.

Bitcoin better than gold

The data obtained is consistent with measurements from analytical companies such as Ecoinometrics.

The company recently published a report concluding that not only does gold require high leverage to generate high returns, it was also among the worst performing investments in the past decade.

In contrast, the gains with cryptocurrencies exceed are greater even without leverage.

On the other hand, considering the research context, it was expected that cryptography would prevail.

After all, Michael Saylor promotes the benefits of Bitcoin daily through his profile and his company MicroStrategy. At the same time, it offers educational courses through the Saylor Academy.

Finally, another piece of information that emerges from the research is that whoever invests in gold allocates a low percentage of the portfolio to it.

Of the 83.8% of gold investors (41,594 people), capital in the metal is no more than 10% of their investments.

Another 5.4% have between 11% and 20% of the capital in gold. AND the remaining 2.6% invest between 31% and 50% of their capital in this asset.
