XP Investimentos has released an update to its recommended Top Picks portfolio. On Monday (26), the portfolio underwent the modification of two shares.
Weg’s shares (WEGE3) and Klabin’s units (KLBN11) were removed from the portfolio. In its place, the shares of Petrobras (PETR4) and Gol (GOLL4) entered.
Published weekly, the Top Picks XP portfolio is composed of five assets. Each of them weighs 20%. This week’s update will remain in effect until Friday (30).
Petrobras and Gol in upward trend
Gilberto Coelho, technical analyst responsible for the portfolio, highlighted the upward trend of Gol and Petrobras. The state-owned oil company has good potential for the long term.
The earnings projected by Coelho for PETR4 are in the range of R $ 25.90 or R $ 29.66. The analyst recommends the R $ 22.77 and R $ 19.80 regions as support. At the moment, the shares are quoted at R $ 23.78.
Gol is also in an upward trend, with a price projection between R $ 27.75 or R $ 33.30. Supports were recommended between R $ 22.00 and R $ 18.80. The current share price is 24.22.
Portfolio performance
Last week (April 19-23), Top Picks fell by 0.35%. Despite this, its performance was better than that of Ibovespa, which fell 0.48% in the same period.
Part of this increase was driven exactly by the two shares taken out of the portfolio. Weg had a negative performance of 2.39%. Klabin had a drop of 1.32% in the week.
The other three stocks in the portfolio are Random (RAPT4), Rumo (RAIL3) and Itaúsa (ITSA4). They appreciated 1.55%, 0.24% and 0.19% in the week, respectively.
The Ibovespa index is used as a benchmark for the performance of Top Picks. In 2021, the portfolio increased by 8.05%. The index was up 1.29%. Since 2010, the performance was 265.84% against 97.77%, respectively.
