First, Via Varejo changed the identity of its brand. Therefore, the company is now called “Via”And all its visual identity changed.
In addition, there was also the announcement of changes in one of its most traditional brands: Pontofrio. From now on, the network will be called “Point”And the identity of its stores and the like also gained a new outfit.
Speaking about the marketplace, the company reported having a base with 97 million customers in all. Of this total, there are 22 million active customers.
At the same time, the retailer accumulates 26 thousand sellers within its platform, meaning an increase of 16,000 salespeople compared to the fourth quarter of 2020.
It is also worth mentioning the growth that digital channels have achieved in sales. In relation to 1P sales (that is, of own products), the Via amounted to R $ 12.8 billion in 2020. Thus, there was a brutal jump of 174%. In the case of 3P sales (that is, sales from third parties), there was a result of R $ 3.2 billion, representing an increase of 90%.
In the logistical field, the Via reported having conquered 50% of sellers from your marketplace to your Envvias platform. At the same time, it also counts on the registration of 3 thousand couriers at ASAPLog, one of its controlled companies in the logistics area.
Regarding the Investments and New Businesses area, the company announced the launch of the Via Next. In short, the retailer created a R $ 200 million corporate fund venture capital (CVC) to invest in startups in up to five years.
