Daniel Fraga ganha NFT com sua famosa frase sobre Bitcoin

Crypto Milled – Daniel Fraga wins NFT with his famous quote about Bitcoin – News

The most emblematic phrase of Bitcoin pioneer in Brazil, Daniel Fraga, has just become an NFT.

Available on the Rarible platform on Thursday (8), digital art displays a collage of several screenshots of a comment made by Fraga with the following text:

“In the future you will regret bitterly for writing this 🙂 Let’s see who will have the last laugh 🙂 (sic)”

Who laughed last?

The above message was left by Daniel Fraga in 2013 in the comments of one of his videos on YouTube.

It was a response to Bitcoin critics who questioned the investment at the time and mocked the cryptocurrency defender.

The description of the piece built on the Ethereum blockchain (ERC-721) includes:

“Iconic tribute to Bitcoin pioneer in Brazil, Daniel Fraga, where more than 7 years ago he encouraged Brazilians to buy Bitcoins. Today, no one else knows his whereabouts, where is Daniel? ”

The Non-Fungible Token created to exalt Fraga is costing 0.3 Ethereum (ETH). In other words, a little more than R $ 3,500 when quoted in reais.

The creator and owner of the NFT is identified only as “Exclus1v3”. So far, there are no bids for the piece.

Who is Daniel Fraga?

Daniel Fraga is a youtuber and Bitcoin enthusiast who has been advocating the adoption of cryptocurrency in Brazil since 2012.

On his YouTube channel, he published videos in which he commented on São Paulo’s problems. In addition, he was known for being an anarcho-capitalist (ancap) and one of the first to talk about the topic.

His problems with justice began in April 2010, when Fraga made a video criticizing the waste treatment and pointed out the then mayor of São Paulo, Gilberto Kassab, as the culprit.

After this video, the millionaire began to cite more and more politicians, especially the mayor. In 2012, he called a local politician a dictator and, with that, he was prosecuted for the first time.

Then he was sued again by another politician and lost. However, he refused to attend the hearing and said he would not pay anything.

In their bank account, the authorities found less than R $ 30 reais and the suspicion is that he converted all of his funds into Bitcoin and then fled Brazil without a trace.

Nothing is known about his whereabouts, only that he occasionally goes to Bitcoin forums to chat.
