With the Covid-19 pandemic, many companies have stopped hiring people or even fired. However, the cryptocurrency market remains open.
At least two companies are hiring professionals to work with cryptocurrencies and blockchain. These are giant Facebook and exchange Binance. Vacancies were opened in the profiles of each company on the LinkedIn social network.
Facebook seeks new director
The first place is offered by Facebook. The social network included the vacancy of Research Intern, the equivalent of an internship, in the research area.
According to the profile, the vacancy is directed to Novi, a cryptocurrency portfolio that is being developed by the company. She has a connection to Diem, a stablecoin that will be released soon.
One of the trainee’s attributes is to direct product decisions based on the economy and research agendas involving the Diem currency and the Novi portfolio.
“This individual will lead the political strategy in the region and manage external engagement efforts in relation to financial services policy and regulatory issues in his family of applications, including the development of Novi,” says the vacancy.
The vacancy was opened to São Paulo. However, the ad classifies it as “remote”, which indicates that candidates from all over the country can participate.
Binance offers 11 vacancies
Binance, on the other hand, offers the largest number of places. The exchange plans to hire 17 Brazilians to work in 10 positions. The positions sought are as follows:
- Senior legal specialist;
- LATAM business development specialist / community strategist;
- Senior Developer (PHP and Python);
- Community manager;
- Sales and institutional accounts manager LATAM;
- Regional Director (LATAM);
- Business partner in human resources;
- Content producer;
- Operations manager;
- Senior recruiter.

The selection will be made according to the candidate’s profile and their qualifications listed on the social network.
