Canal Coisa de Nerd transforma primeiro vídeo em NFT e coloca para venda

Crypto Milled – Canal Coisa de Nerd turns first video into NFT and puts it for sale – News

One of the largest YouTube channels in Brazil launched its first NFT. This is the Nerd stuff, which has more than 10 million subscribers.

The news was announced by Leon Oliveira Martins, co-founder of the channel. The NFT in question was launched to commemorate Coisa de Nerd’s birthday.

For this, the first video released on the channel was chosen. It was released in 2009, the same year that Coisa de Nerd was founded.

In celebration of the 11th anniversary of Coisa de Nerd, I launched the NFT auction of the channel’s first video (from 03/27/2010). If you want to participate, the link is in the profile bio ”, announced Martins in his Instagram.

Auction ends in less than 30 days

The token was launched on the platform OpenSea, one of the main tools for this type of auction. To participate, the minimum bid was set at US $ 1,714, about R $ 9,800 at the current price.

Each user can place their bid and also follow a preview of the video content. The auction will last until April 25, when the biggest offer will be the winner.

Up to the time of writing this text, the NFT has about 10,000 views. However, no bid was offered for the work.

About the channel

Coisa de Nerd started as a channel focused on games, technologies and other themes from the nerd world. It was released on November 5, 2009 in a partnership with Martins and Nilce Moretto.

Subsequently, Coisa de Nerd evolved and became a content producer. Besides the channel that gives her name, she is responsible for the digital channels of the following videos:

  • Where is the key? (4.11 million subscribers);
  • Republic Thing of Nerd (1.79 million);
  • Financial (214 thousand);
  • I want to listen to podcast (44.3 thousand).

Together, the channels form a conglomerate that has almost 17 million subscribers. This can bring about a major change in the level of NFTs in Brazil. This is what the artist Fernando Quevedo is betting on, who spoke exclusively to CriptoFácil.

“Although the NFT market is very new, just as Bitcoin has changed the way the world views money and transferring values, I believe there will be a reshaping of the art market,” he said.
